The Office of Multicultural and Minority Affairs (OMMA) provides leadership and advocacy at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke to support cultural diversity and to prepare students to interact in a diverse world. OMMA actualizes a dimension of the university’s core value of diversity by empowering students of color and facilitating cross-cultural interactions through educational opportunities, programmatic initiatives for the university community and adhering to the basis of respect and inclusion.
This blog will be used as an outlet, a conversation starter, or just a thought provoker for students (and the blogosphere) to discuss issues relating multiculturalism and diversity. Together, we can make a difference!
